Itabashi Firework Festival – Summer Stars

I went to Itabashi firework festival for the first time during the weekend. This is very much another reason to why I have fallen in love with Japan so much. There are fantastic things to do for every season and during the summer the fireworks light up the night sky. People wore the yukata, the summer kimono, to enjoy the festival. There is just so much culture. At Itabashi firework festival, people sit along the river embankment that has been decorated with lanterns to enjoy the fireworks. There was actually a pokemon theme firework too, shaped a like pokeball. Personally, I love fireworks very much, not just for its beauty. Life itself is a firework, we all rise up to potential height that we can achieve and we all create different things, like the size and the shape of the firework itself. Then we have to die and fade away like a firework but that doesn’t mean that our life hasn’t been beautiful.
