Verona – A City where Time Clashes

I love my Verona. For a small city, so much time is captured in one tiny place. The structures of the former Roman Empire are still visible and even useable in modern time like the Verona Arena. Moving away from the classical era, the city also showed signs of the Medieval and Renaissance period. Here visitors can visit the famous Juliet’s balcony that the people believed inspired Shakespeare to write Romeo & Juliet. Lovers put locks with their name here to lock their love together forever. It was too bad I did not have someone special to do it with this time. So maybe when I get to visit Verona next time if I am lucky hehehe.
