Yoshinobaigou – Land of the Thousand Plum Trees in Tokyo

My hunt for spring continues at Yoshinobaigou. Yoshinobaigou is an area with many hills in the outskirt of Tokyo known for its plum trees. The area boasts about its 1200 plum trees and when it comes to the plum blossom season, this area is one of the best to visit in Tokyo. The closest train station to Yoshinobaigou is Hinatawada station on the JR Ome line and it takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to get there from Shinjuku station. There is a 200 yen entrance fee and it is worth every single yen spent. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. I was there with my friends but I thought to myself that this would have been such a nice date with someone special.
