Grom Gelato – Shinjuku

Summer and gelato together is pretty much amazing and the best gelato in the city has to be Grom in Shinjuku OIOI buulding, opposite Isetan. Grom is of course not Japanese but Italian and it is one of the most famous high-end gelato brands. What makes Grom so special is the fact that the ingredients have to be organic and come from the best region in the world for instance lemon from Siracusa, the Tonda Gentile Trilobata hazelnut from the Langhe and so on.


I had the yoghurt gelato with the Sicilian style gelato which is made from ricotta cheese and orange skins.


The combination between pistachio and bitter chocolate is so divine.


I can’t wait to go back for more this summer.
